About the role
Northamptonshire Children’s Trust Safeguarding & Quality Assurance Service (SQAS) is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated team player to join the service. We are looking for candidates who are flexible, dynamic, and solution-focused, with experience in business support for frontline and operational services.
This post will support our Safeguarding & Quality Assurance Service, including Child Protection Chairs, Independent Reviewing Officers, Quality Assurance Service and Designated Officers who are based across the County.
What will you be doing?
The role will require you to convene, and minute take all aspects of Child Protection Conferences/Child in Care Reviews/Joint Evaluation Meetings. This includes preparing and distributing invitation letters, booking meeting venues, and collating reports.
Previous experience of minute taking in high level complex conferences/meetings is essential as are good organisational skills, flexibility, and the ability to prioritise and work independently to strict deadlines.
Ensure that all electronic records are accurate and up to date in relation to Child Protection Conferences/Children in Care reviews
Provide proactive support to Child Protection Chairs, Independent Review Officers Designated Officers and Quality Assurance service
Liaise with the Senior Child Protection Chair and the Senior Independent Reviewing Officer regarding allocation of meetings and any other related issues.
Liaise with Social Worker teams, external agencies and representatives as appropriate in matters relating to the clerical/administrative procedures for the service.
Works closely and jointly with the other service members as required to ensure continuity of support for Children Services and undertake other tasks as appropriate to the role to meet the needs of the business.
