Family Group Conference Business Support Officer

Northamptonshire Children’s Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated team player to join our newly developed Family Group Conferencing Team, to work as an administrator, supporting practitioners and the Senior Practitioner.

Working within a team of 5, this is a role where you can really make a difference to the lives of families and young people.

The role is both office and home based with a flexible working approach.  Our core hours are Monday to Thursday 09:00-17:00 and Friday 09:00-16:30

This is a role with a wide variety of learning opportunities and enables you to develop skills to work within a busy, growing team providing delivery of targeted work with families.

What will you be doing?

The role entails working closely with both the Senior Practitioner, and practitioners to ensure that administrative work is collated and maintained in an efficient and productive manner, to support the interventions being delivered to families we work with. This includes, but is not limited to, collecting and formatting data, booking and arranging meetings and liaising with linked  professionals where necessary.

Providing a comprehensive, confidential range of effective administrative support

You will minute professional discussions maintaining accurate records.

You are someone that enjoys networking with multi agency professionals.

You are positive, dynamic, solution-focused, with experience in business support or administration and an effective team player with a willingness to learn.

You enjoy working with daily deadlines and have experience of working in a fast paced, sensitive and confidential environment.

You are confident user of Word, Excel, Outlook and other IT applications 

Experience in minute taking and touch typing is desirable, as this will be a key task for this role.
