About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to join our exciting team who are willing to work flexibly around the needs of children and young people.

Northamptonshire Children’s Trust has an exciting new project to support children and young people deemed “on the edge of care”. We are looking for confident, key workers who can act as the lead professional and can co-ordinate high quality, preventative and intensive targeted interventions with children and adolescents with complex needs on the edge of going into care or who need support with reunification with their families after being in care.

About you

We are looking for committed staff who have:

•             Assessment and engagement skills

•             Ability to affect change for children/young people and their family

•             Can draw on the principles of Integrated Working

•             An ability to work closely and creatively with communities and partner agencies

This role is part of a new approach to support within the Young people’s support service
