Family Support Worker - DAAT

About the role

As Children’s Services are improving, exciting new opportunities have opened in the Safeguarding Service based in Northampton . We are looking to recruit  a Family Support Worker  to be part of the team who build meaningful relationships with children and their families helping them grow, prosper and achieve.

What will you be doing?

The Family Support Worker would provide focussed family support to children and families with complex needs, many of whom are either on Child in Need or Child Protection Plans or part of an assessment process in DAAT. The successful candidates will work with the whole family to improve parenting capacity, undertaking direct work with children and providing support to families increase the skills, confidence and abilities of all family members to live their daily lives in a positive and safe way. 

About you

We are looking for people who are highly motivated, and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The role will be based in county wide and the right candidate needs to have access to a vehicle.

The successful candidate will need experience in family support.
