About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the fostering service as a Fostering Panel Administrator.
Based at Angel Square, you will be supporting the business support function of the fostering panel . You will be responsible for the administrative functions for the fostering panel including minute taking , collation of paperwork for panel members and communicating decisions to foster carers following the panel process. The ideal candidate will be flexible to take on a variety of tasks, whilst communicating confidently and effectively. You will work closely with the fostering panel adviser and a colleague panel administrator.
We are looking for someone who can be flexible to meet the needs and demands of the business.

What will you be doing?
This position will be based within our One Angel Square offices. The position reports directly to our Fostering Panel Advisor and supports all administrative functions of our Fostering Panel as detailed in the job description, to include the taking of, and accurate recording of, panel minutes.
About you
You will be a self-motivated, organised Administrator that delivers professional support for Practitioners and the Management Team. Accuracy, attention to detail and use of initiative is required when completing panel meetings, minuting meetings, and co ordinating paperwork to be shared with panel members and the agency decision maker as part of the panel process.
You must have a confident working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and experience of using computerised recording systems, although training will be given. The ability to prioritise your workload whilst achieving deadlines, in a highly performing and changing environment, is essential.
An understanding of confidentiality and data protection is imperative. You will need to demonstrate an ability to learn quickly and how you would make a positive contribution to our team.
