About the role

This is a great opportunity to join a small team where you can make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people within Northamptonshire. 

Our Placements and Commissioning team ensure children and young people have the best possible placements that are proportionate to their assessed needs and that help them to achieve their full potential. As an Information Project Officer you would be providing essential administrative support to the team as they source and negotiate placements for Northamptonshire’s Looked After Children and Care Leavers.

What will you be doing?

You will be answering queries, updating files, uploading records and checking documents ensuring that placements are recorded and payments are accurate 

You will report, analyse and present data on a range of processes to support the service

You will co-ordinate and manage the team’s processes and systems in relation to communications and SharePoint, including mailbox monitoring, task action and response.

You will work closely with Social Worker teams, external agencies, and representatives as appropriate in matters relating to the administrative procedures for the service.

 

About you

You have excellent working  knowledge of Microsoft Access, Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word & Power Point

You are great with numbers, like to get into the detail and are able to summarise complex information effectively

You will have previous experience of working within a business support function and are able to build effective working relationships with a wide group of people. 

You are child focused and able to manage a high volume of sensitive information.
