Parent Support Coordinator - Partnership Support

About the role

Northamptonshire Children’s Trust was established in November 2020 to deliver the best possible opportunities for the children in Northamptonshire. Our responsibility is to deliver children’s social care and targeted early help services on behalf of  North Northamptonshire and West Northamptonshire Councils.   

The Children and Family Support Service works with families to improve outcomes for children ensuring all children are safe, achieve their best in education, are ready for work and have skills for life, grow up healthy and have improved life chances. 

We are seeking a dynamic Parenting Support Coordinator to focus on reducing the impact of parental conflict on children’s outcomes, by delivering training to partners to support their understanding and to assist with the development of pathways of support for parents. Experience of delivering training is desirable as full training in reducing parental conflict will be provided.

This is a Fixed Term contract  to 31.3.2025

About you

You are a skilled communicator with the ability to build purposeful working relationships with internal and external partners to ensure that our children get the right help from the right service at the right time.

You have proven experience of working with parents and families with multiple needs, and supporting them to access help.
