Personal Assistant

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

About the role

Are you a dynamic, organised PA/Administrator who enjoys working as part of a team but with their own workload in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team of Personal Assistants who between them support 3 Directors and 4 Assistant Directors (soon to be 5).  You will be supporting 2 Assistant Directors by effectively managing their busy diaries and inboxes along with preparing, attending and minuting meetings.  You will work as part of a team who work closely together along with their line manager to ensure all the requirements of the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Directors are met, those that have been thought of and at times the ones that haven’t, requiring the ability to think on your feet and be pro-active.

What will you be doing?

You may already be a Personal Assistant, or you may be an accomplished administrator looking to make a move into this type of role.  Either way you will need to be very organised, show attention to detail, be able to multi-task and react to changing priorities while staying cool under pressure.

If you are able to demonstrate these qualities and understand the need for confidentiality then you could be just who we are looking for.

About you

You should have a good working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.  We also use Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint for our virtual meetings, collaborative working and document storage so a basic knowledge of these would also be beneficial although training will be given.

We are based at One Angel Square in the centre of Northampton.  We work flexibly splitting our working week between office and home in line with the team and Director’s requirements and on the odd occasion travel may be required.

For an informal discussion about the role please contact Tracy Bottomley, Business Manager to the Leadership Team on 07967 229010.
