Salary up to £48,252 (pay award pending April 2024)

We are looking for an experienced and passionate recruitment manager to join us to plan and build dynamic approaches for our recruitment to attract top talent to join our awesome workforce.

What will you be doing?

This new and exciting role sits within the Finance and Resources Directorate at Northamptonshire Children’s Trust (NCT), a large employer that provides care and support to children, young people, and families in Northamptonshire.

As the recruitment and resourcing Manager, you will play a vital part in this, leading our recruitment, being responsible for expert professional resourcing advice, and setting and delivering our recruitment strategy that embraces equality, inclusion and NCT values. 

The successful candidate will establish exceptional working relationships with external recruitment partners to ensure NCT attract the best possible candidates for the roles. They will also work internally with senior leaders and hiring managers, to provide expert advice and guidance to support successful recruitment and build expertise and knowledge within NCT.

You will ensure that there are cost effective and highly responsive resourcing systems in place to meet the organisation’s workforce needs.

About you

We’re looking for an accomplished, confident, self-motivated, and innovative leader to develop and implement a pioneering and creative recruitment strategy.

As the subject matter expert, you will use your skills and experience to evolve how NCT attracts talented and high potential candidates to the diverse range of roles.

You will work across all services and functions, so in addition to your substantial recruitment experience, knowledge, and your technical skills, you will be customer focussed and have the ability to build strong relationships quickly with both internal and external partners.

You will have knowledge of recruitment agencies and their processes and be able to demonstrate your partnership working with them.

Experience of having worked in social work recruitment would be an advantage.

Provide expert advice in relation to all aspects of the recruitment process including candidate attraction, diversity and inclusion, assessment, vetting best practice, policies, and legislation.
