About the role
Northamptonshire Children’s Trust was established in November 2020 to deliver the best possible opportunities for the children in Northamptonshire. Our responsibility is to deliver children’s social care and targeted early help services on behalf of North Northamptonshire and West Northamptonshire Councils.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join the trust who will report to the Head of Finance. We are seeking a forward-thinking and dynamic finance professional to join our finance team and lead the provision of high quality financial support to Directors, Heads of Service and Service Managers. You will manage a team and ensuring accurate and timely professional financial support across the Trust.

About you
You will be a qualified accountant with ongoing professional development and experience of working in local government, ideally within Children’s Services.
You will have proven experience of managing a team with the ability to communicate effectively with professional and technical finance staff and operational managers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop the finance business partnering approach and work with the development of budget holders.
Experience in the areas of Financial Planning, Control and Reporting including the development of Financial processes is essential for this role.
